Trick or Treat...

So, this was our first Halloween with our 10 month old son. It was really fun! I thought I had scored a really good deal on a Yoda outfit I picked up at a school garage sale earlier this year, but it was too good to be true. When I tried it on my son, I noticed it did not fit correctly. So, being the internet investigator extroidinaire, I Googled "baby yoda costume". Well, it didn't look anything like the one I purchased. What did look like the one I had was a Yoda costume for a DOG!! Oh ok, this all makes sense now. I couldn't stop laughing. Then, I felt horrible for putting my son in a costume some strange dog had worn. So, we ended up going to "plan B"...a standby pumpkin outfit.
We then took my son to a few houses in our neighborhood. He had no idea what was going on, but he was a real trooper. We did get a lot of people saying we were only "trick or treating" for the candy, and well, yes, maybe!!
I have to say, the Fall holidays are my favorite and are even more so now that we can enjoy them with our son.
