The Writing is on the Wall…

….or, in this case, the drawing is on the wall.
When was the last time you used your child’s art to decorate your home, rather than just the refrigerator? Have you framed their art to hang on your wall or on the walls of their bedroom?
My kids and I are constantly creating art together and, when they were very young; we had a “gallery” hung in the hallway leading to their bedrooms. I purchased large canvas boards and put two alligator clips on each one. These clips acted as a means to hang the board, as well as to hang the art from the board. It was very easy to change the art out when new pieces were created.
The house we live in now has no hallways, so we have to come up with another gallery area. In the meantime, we create. I still have the boards and I’m considering hanging them in each of their bedrooms so their work can be showcased. I’m also compiling books of their art, as well.
Where do you keep your children’s art? Do you frame any of it for hanging, or do you keep it somewhere else? I’m interested in hearing creative uses for children’s art!
