Sick Days = Make-up Work

Hubby2b’s nephew has been out of school sick with the flu since yesterday. Turns out, he caught it from his stepbrother and now his mother is also sick. It’s going to be a long week for the three of them if measures aren’t taken toward wellness immediately.
Unfortunately for me, this means the weekend is going to be filled with getting him caught up on his schoolwork. I have to make a trip to the high school today to pick up his assignments, and then I’m going to make up a schedule to ensure it’s all completed.
This is unfortunate for him, as well, because I’m sure he’d rather spend his weekend doing fun thing rather than make-up work. It exhausts me just thinking about it because I remember what a struggle it was to catch up each time I was sick in high school.
