Where did this summer go?
Seriously, I had a lot of plans for the kids and myself this summer. How is it that we’re already twenty days away from the first day of school? I’m not ready for summer to end yet!
This summer has been very poor in terms of good weather. Last year, we were able to be outside in the yard, in the pool, at the playgrounds, or on trails just about every day. This summer, however, we spent a lot of time indoors because it’s been raining so much.
Now that I realize how quickly this summer is ending, it’s time to school shop for clothes! I’ve been so focused on making sure they have the right supplies that time to buy clothes is quickly slipping away. These kids grow like weeds, so it seems we’re buying clothes for them ALL the time.
