One Gets Sick, We ALL Get Sick!

So, it’s that time of year . . . when the domino effect takes over our household when it comes to sicknesses traveling through the school system. Germs. Viruses. Air-born what-not. Ick. You just have to love it when that happens . . . (sighs)
My youngest is home sick today. So, that means he’s in my office with me watching cartoons, coloring, and camping out on the couch while I work. Thank goodness for his tiny little portable desk thing and coloring books (and printables).
My step-daughter started in with symptoms Thursday night, but she’s all better now. My oldest is complaining of a sore throat and my nephew feels icky, too. Next, it’ll be the adults . . . and then it’ll start all over again.
I bought a really gross herbal drink today that works like a charm preventing this stuff from cycling, so I’ll be choking that down for the next two weeks. Blah. I doubt I’ll be able to convince anyone else to drink it once they see me do the “ew” yucky dance. I’ll try to stay optimistic about that.
Do you fight with this seasonal ickiness every year?
