Its Been Awhile....

So, I know its been awhile since my last post, but a lot has been going on. I see my little "traffic" email from Orble and have the best intentions of posting, but then it slips my mind.
Back in June my dad was diagnosed with Stage 1 Pancreatic Cancer. He went through surgery and now is going through chemo and radiation. His mother and older brother both died from Pancreatic Cancer, so this was really scary for us all. Usually by the time they find it, its too late. There is no warning signs or tests for it. But, thank God, my dad developed Jaundice because that was his "sign". He is doing well and we are trying to keep him positive. He has lost a lot of weight. Matter of fact so much so, that this is the first time I have seen him without a pot belly!
As for my little peanut....he has 4 teeth and is starting to crawl. I joined a playgroup with some women from my church and that has been terrific for me and my little guy. Its great socialization for me and him. I highly recommend it for any new moms out there! There are MOPS, Stroller Strides, Mommy and me, and almost every church has a group as well. It helps you keep your sanity!
That's all I have for now. I will try to keep on these as much as I can. There is always my little "traffic" email will remind me to start typing my thoughts.
