Don't Throw That Away!
July 17th 2008 14:34
I recently had to move my office (craft areas, workspace, studio - whatever you want to call this area) to another part of my home. I used to save EVERYTHING because I never knew if I would need something for a future project with the kids. I had coffee cans, boxes in assorted sizes, envelopes, junk mail, and so on.
When I moved the space, I three 90% of these items away. And, of course, I need about 75% of those items NOW. This is frustrating, particularly because I hadn't touched any of these things in quite some time. It was necessary to throw a lot of it away because I needed to speed up the moving process.
It's a tough lesson to learn, though, because it is going to take some time to build my "stash" up again. My advice? Don't throw that away!!!!
Do you hang on to things to use later on with your kids during craft time? Have you thrown something away and later regretted that choice?
