Charting the Way

In our household, like many, incentives are a driving force when it comes to behavior and daily task completion. Here are some links to a variety of charts we have experimented with along the way:
1: Reading: There many others, but this one has worked best for us based on age group and how big the kids still write.
2: Behavior: We change these out all the time to keep things interesting.
3: Chores: In our household, we don't label what they do each day as "chores" because I feel that word has a negative conotation. Instead, they have daily responsibilities.
When the children are older (who knows, it might be as soon as this year depending on the teacher's cirriculum), we'll be implimenting homework charts. Right now, we keep everything on a corkboard in a centralized area of the house. Eventually, these charts will become part of the household's binder.
