Happy Summer!

I hope everyone is having a nice summer! We did our first family road trip to Vegas during the 4th of July and it went really well. It also helped that my mom came along too. We all got to do something we wanted and have a fun time. The little guy did great in the car and slept both nights...woo hoo! We wanted to do something close and in our budget and being preggers I really didn't feel like flying somewhere, so Vegas was a great deal for us. If you go in the middle of the week, you can save a ton of money too. Although we lost in the casino 
So, if you are worried about doing your first family vacation with your little ones, just take "baby steps" and don't make it to Europe (if your nervous about the whole thing). I didn't want to stress on my vacation, even though its a lot different when you have a baby with you, so we did what we thought would be workable. I have friends that have flown all over with their little ones and I give them a lot of credit. I know how it can be to travel with these little guys.
Oh and one other side note.....being pregnant in Vegas is NOT the same when your are not! It wasn't horrible, but mama didn't get to enjoy the free "libation's"! Oh well....maybe in a couple of years we can leave them with Grandma and Gramps and live like the old days!
